Crescent Bahuman Limited seeks a highly skilled and experienced Head of Fabric Inspection / Grading to lead and oversee the fabric inspection and grading operations. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Textile Engineering and brings at least 12 years of relevant industry experience. This position requires ownership of the entire inspection process, focusing on denim and non-denim fabrics, ensuring every finished fabric piece undergoes rigorous quality checks aligned with established standards. The role includes managing a dedicated team of 10 inspectors, driving productivity, and maintaining departmental key performance indicators to uphold and exceed quality benchmarks.
The Head of Fabric Inspection / Grading acts as a pivotal liaison between production and technical departments, addressing quality issues swiftly and effectively. This leadership position demands deep expertise in fabric quality parameters such as the 4-Point Inspection System, fabric defects, shade variation, GSM, skew, and bow. The successful candidate applies strong analytical skills to perform comprehensive defect analysis, initiates corrective actions, and champions continuous improvement programs that elevate fabric quality and customer satisfaction.
