Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Django, GraphQL, and SOAP to support our web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement new features and functionality, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security of the backend systems.
- Optimize existing codebase to improve application performance and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix issues promptly.
- Ensure code quality and maintain coding standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy applications and manage infrastructure.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in backend development, GraphQL, and SOAP.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven work experience as a Backend Developer using Django.
- Strong understanding of GraphQL and experience in building GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with SOAP web services and integration.
- Proficiency in Python programming language and Django framework.
- Experience with database systems, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Sound knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies.
