Creative Web Developer

Unisoftwares is looking for a Creative Web Developer to bring Figma designs, reference websites, and business requirements to life through visually appealing, responsive, and high-performance websites. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in both CMS-based and custom web development, particularly with WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, React.js, HTML, and CSS. This role demands a self-driven developer capable of managing projects independently from development to deployment while working collaboratively with designers, project managers, and fellow developers.

Key Responsibilities
Develop responsive and visually polished websites based on Figma designs, mockups, and reference sites. Build and customize WordPress and other CMS-based websites, creating custom themes, templates, components, and functionalities tailored to project needs. Develop custom interfaces using PHP, JavaScript, React.js, HTML5, and CSS3, ensuring pixel-perfect conversion of UI/UX designs into responsive websites. Implement animations, hover effects, transitions, and interactive elements to enhance user experience. Troubleshoot frontend, backend, CMS, plugin, theme, and integration issues efficiently. Integrate REST APIs, forms, payment gateways, CRM systems, and marketing tools. Optimize websites for speed, Core Web Vitals, usability, accessibility, and basic SEO principles. Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. Maintain, improve, and update existing client websites as required. Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and developers throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development techniques is essential. Solid experience with WordPress and other CMS development and customization is required. Hands-on experience with PHP and custom web development is necessary, along with working knowledge of React.js. The candidate must be able to accurately convert Figma/UI designs into high-quality, responsive websites and have a deep understanding of layouts, spacing, typography, responsive design, and visual consistency. Experience customizing themes/templates and developing custom functionality is important. Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations is expected. Knowledge of Git or other version control systems is required. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills are essential, along with an understanding of website performance optimization and basic technical SEO. The ability to independently manage a website project from development through deployment is critical.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
A portfolio showcasing websites personally developed or implemented is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to analyze professional websites and replicate their design, responsiveness, interactions, and functionality. This role requires a developer capable of building complete solutions rather than just writing code. Candidates who focus solely on backend/API development without frontend experience, rely heavily on pre-built themes/plugins, or require constant design guidance are not suited for this position. The salary range for this role is PKR 100,000 to 130,000 per month. Working hours are from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM. This is an in-person position based in Lahore, Johar Town, so reliable commuting or relocation plans before starting work are preferred.

Applicants will be asked about their years of professional web development experience, specifically with WordPress/CMS and custom PHP development. They should also provide 2–3 live websites they personally developed, detailing their contributions and the technologies or CMS used.
