We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in the .NET framework, particularly in VB.NET, to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software development with a focus on ERP systems, preferably within the textile industry. This role requires a deep understanding of ERP systems and the ability to develop robust, scalable software solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using the .NET framework, specifically VB.NET.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Analyze requirements, provide technical solutions, and implement them effectively in ERP systems tailored for the textile industry.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, as well as conduct root cause analysis of system failures.
- Maintain code integrity and organization, and ensure best practices in coding standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for software solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the software development industry.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development using the .NET framework, with extensive experience in VB.NET.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with database management and design (SQL Server preferred).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies is preferred.
