Cotton Web Limited is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Manager Fabric Procurement to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee and manage the procurement of fabric, ensuring the right materials are sourced at the right costs while maintaining high standards of quality. With at least six years of relevant experience, you will lead a team of five procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes efficiency and innovation in our fabric sourcing processes. You will play a crucial role in the overall supply chain strategy, working closely with suppliers to establish relationships that enhance our fabric inventory and meet production needs on time and within budget. As the Manager Fabric Procurement, you will leverage your extensive skills in vendor management, supply chain dynamics, and cost analysis to optimize procurement functions. Strategic sourcing will be at the forefront of your responsibilities, requiring a solid understanding of fabric types and trends in the market. You will also implement and manage procurement processes using technology such as Oracle SCM Cloud to enhance our inventory control systems. Your analytical skills in demand forecasting will ensure we maintain optimal levels of fabric inventory, driving cost-effective solutions that support our production requirements and business objectives.
Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of five procurement specialists to ensure effective fabric sourcing and vendor management.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers to secure high-quality fabric materials at competitive prices.
  • Conduct thorough cost analysis to identify opportunities for savings and negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors.
  • Monitor and review supplier performance regularly to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery expectations.
  • Implement and oversee procurement policies and procedures to streamline purchasing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Utilize Oracle SCM Cloud and other inventory management software to track and manage fabric inventory levels accurately.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and design, to understand fabric needs and align procurement strategies.
  • Analyze demand forecasting data to make informed procurement decisions that meet production schedules without excess inventory.
  • Evaluate market trends and fabric innovations to advise on strategic sourcing opportunities and material selections.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and budget compliance for senior management.
