Assistant Manager Finishing -Quality Assurance

The Assistant Manager Finishing - Quality Assurance at Cotton Web Limited plays a crucial role in ensuring that the garment finishing processes meet the highest quality standards in our denim manufacturing operations. You will oversee a dedicated team of five professionals, guiding them to implement effective quality assurance and quality control protocols throughout the finishing stage of production. The position requires a deep understanding of garment manufacturing processes and a strong focus on continuous improvement through the application of root cause analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) methodologies. In this role, you will also leverage your expertise in QA/QC tools while fostering a culture of quality within the team and encouraging strong communication and reporting practices to enhance efficiency and product integrity.
Responsibilities

Lead the quality assurance efforts in the finishing department by establishing and monitoring quality standards and procedures in denim garment manufacturing.
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of five QA professionals to effectively address quality concerns and enhance overall productivity.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of the finishing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
Utilize RCA and CAPA methods to investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate closely with production management and other departments to align quality goals with overall production objectives and ensure seamless operations.
Provide training and support to team members on QA/QC tools and techniques to maintain high-quality output and adherence to industry standards.
Prepare detailed quality reports and communicate findings to upper management, offering actionable insights to drive positive change within the organization.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance initiatives, making necessary adjustments to strategies based on performance metrics.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance practices to continuously refine the QA/QC processes in the finishing department.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements related to garment quality, contributing to a safe and functional work environment.
