Code District is looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Content Marketer who understands that exceptional content goes beyond ranking well on search engines—it drives real conversions. In this role, you will craft content specifically designed for our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), addressing their core challenges and guiding them through every stage of the buying journey. Your work will combine clear, audience-focused messaging with fundamental SEO techniques to deliver genuine value and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
ICP & Value-Driven Content Strategy:
Develop a thorough understanding of our Ideal Customer Profiles, including their pain points, goals, and daily workflows. Create content such as articles, case studies, and guides that offer actionable insights rather than generic advice. Tailor messaging to each stage of the buyer funnel—Top of Funnel (awareness), Middle of Funnel (evaluation), and Bottom of Funnel (decision-making)—to effectively nurture prospects.
SEO Writing & On-Page Optimization:
Conduct keyword research to ensure content aligns with search intent without keyword stuffing. Optimize on-page elements including headings (H1, H2, H3), meta descriptions, title tags, internal linking, and overall content structure to benefit both search engines and readers. Regularly audit and update existing content to maintain search rankings and keep information current.
Required Qualifications
1-2+ years of professional experience in content marketing, ideally within B2B or SaaS environments. Strong grasp of on-page SEO principles and proficiency with keyword and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Clearscope, or SurferSEO. Proven ability to adapt voice, tone, and content depth to suit technical or specialized professional audiences. A portfolio demonstrating published work that highlights clarity, readability, and business impact. Self-motivated with excellent time-management skills, capable of independently managing content schedules and editorial calendars.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic familiarity with content management systems like WordPress, Webflow, or HubSpot. Foundational knowledge of Google Analytics and Search Console to track performance metrics such as traffic, conversions, and bounce rates. Experience conducting expert interviews with customers or internal subject matter experts to enrich content quality and depth.
This role offers the chance to make a meaningful contribution to a growing company by producing strategic, well-optimized content that not only attracts but also converts our target audience through thoughtful and value-driven messaging.
