This position involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of privatization transactions, ensuring that all processes are completed on schedule and in full compliance with regulatory standards. The role demands comprehensive data gathering and analysis of designated entities or assets, focusing on ownership details, financial health, liabilities, legal status, and operational aspects. The successful candidate will conduct initial due diligence, prepare thorough reports, and devise strategic plans for transaction execution. Close collaboration with financial advisors, legal professionals, and technical teams is critical to structuring and implementing transactions effectively. Additionally, the role requires preparing essential transaction documents and presenting findings to relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end privatization transactions following approval by the competent authority, ensuring timely and compliant execution. Collect, analyze, and assess data related to assigned entities or assets, including ownership, financial status, liabilities, legal standing, and operational performance. Conduct preliminary due diligence and prepare reports in accordance with approved templates and procedures. Develop and recommend transaction execution strategies, deciding whether to proceed with in-house execution or engage financial advisors and consultants. Evaluate and propose optimal transaction structures while reviewing and advising on those suggested by appointed financial advisors. Formulate and implement strategic transaction plans with clear stages, activities, and timelines. Prepare and coordinate key transaction documents such as Information Memorandums, bidding documents, Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs), Joint Venture Agreements (JVAs), and related contracts. Prepare briefs, reports, and presentations for the Privatization Commission, Cabinet Committee on Privatization (CCoP), and other relevant forums. Review deliverables from financial advisors, monitor milestones, and recommend validation and payments. Coordinate with legal, financial, and technical experts to ensure accuracy and completeness of all transaction documentation. Perform any additional duties assigned by the competent authority.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university is required. Professional certifications such as ACMA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA are highly desirable. Candidates should have experience in the insurance industry, financial sector, mergers and acquisitions, or regulatory affairs.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
International qualifications or relevant experience are preferred. Recent experience in similar roles within other organizations will be considered an advantage.
