Computer House is seeking a skilled Mobile Application Developer with a minimum of five years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in developing mobile applications using React Native, along with a solid understanding of Android native development using Java or Kotlin. This role demands proficiency in integrating REST APIs and effectively managing JSON data, ensuring seamless communication between applications and backend services. Familiarity with Firebase services such as Analytics, Crashlytics, and Push Notifications is essential to enhance app performance and user engagement. The candidate will also utilize version control systems like Git to maintain code integrity and collaborate efficiently within an Agile development environment.
In this position, the Mobile Application Developer focuses on designing user-friendly interfaces and optimizing application performance across multiple platforms. The developer will be responsible for the full mobile app lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, debugging, and deployment to app stores for both Android and iOS platforms. A thorough understanding of mobile app release processes and design patterns is critical for ensuring high-quality deliverables. While this role does not involve team management, it offers opportunities to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and robust mobile solutions that provide excellent user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native, ensuring cross-platform compatibility.
- Implement native Android components using Java or Kotlin to enhance app functionality and performance.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and manage JSON data efficiently to facilitate communication between mobile applications and backend services.
- Leverage Firebase services such as Analytics, Crashlytics, and Push Notifications to monitor app performance and improve user engagement.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git to manage source code, facilitate collaboration, and maintain code quality.
- Apply Agile methodologies to participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver features on time and within scope.
- Design intuitive and responsive user interfaces focused on delivering an excellent user experience across different devices and screen sizes.
- Perform rigorous testing and debugging to identify and fix issues, ensuring reliability and stability of mobile applications.
- Optimize application performance and load times to improve user satisfaction and retention.
- Manage the complete app deployment process, including preparing builds, submitting to app stores, and handling post-release updates.
- Stay updated on the latest mobile development trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development approaches.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to define requirements and deliver quality features.
- Ensure adherence to mobile application architecture best practices and design patterns throughout development.
