We are looking for a talented Front-End WordPress Developer with 4 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing visually appealing and user-friendly front-end elements of WordPress websites. You will work closely with the design and content teams to create engaging and optimized user experiences, ensuring all visual elements are aligned with brand guidelines and responsive across devices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement front-end components of WordPress websites, ensuring they are responsive and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with designers to convert Figma/Sketch designs into pixel-perfect, functional web pages.
- Customize and style WordPress themes according to project requirements and client specifications.
- Optimize website performance, focusing on fast load times, efficient code, and mobile responsiveness.
- Maintain cross-browser compatibility and conduct testing to ensure consistency across platforms.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and ranking.
- Create and modify custom WordPress templates and plugins as needed for front-end functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and WordPress trends to improve site functionality and performance.
Requirements:
9. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
10. 4 years Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles, including knowledge of Bootstrap or similar frameworks.
11. Solid understanding of the WordPress CMS, theme development, and front-end customization.
12. Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques and tools.
13. Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
14. Attention to detail, with an eye for aesthetics and visual consistency.
15. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
16. Basic understanding of SEO best practices and how they apply to web development.
Good to Have:
17. Experience with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.
18. Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
19. Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
20. Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices for web design.
