SOM Fauji Foundation Hospital is a Project of Fauji Foundation Pakistan (A welfare trust for retired army personnel and their families). A team of local and expatriate professionals provide specialized medical care with an emphasis on innovation and research. In addition to daily filter clinics, specialist clinics are being conducted for adult and paediatrics urology, general and paediatrics surgery, orthopedics and diabetes care. It is Located in Shah Faisal Colony No 2 on Shara-e-Faisal. It is 195 bedded hospital with all clinical support facilities available such as ultrasound, X-RAY, Laboratory etc.

The SOM Fauji Foundation Hospital aims to provide a paper free method of recording and storing patient related and other hospital data. The customized software for SOM Fauji Foundation Hospital has been developed by an in house team of designers called Medix. All patient medical records are entered and stored in a computerized database. Other than providing an efficient means of monitoring day to day patient progress, the Medix has the huge benefit of facilitating audits and clinical research. Using this software, doctors enter patient history, examination and treatment directly on to the computerized medical record chart.
