The Social Enterprise Development Centre (SEDC) was launched in July 2001 by the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan in collaboration with McGill University, Canada and financial support from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). SEDC is engaged in management training for the social sector, e.g. NGO's and even Govt. officials such as DSSO's (Nazims). It is also called the SEDP (P for "Programme").
The IT Team at SEDP is working on two projects: SEDP Web Portal and its Distance Learning initiative.
