Institute of Public Policy (BNU)


The Beaconhouse National University established the Institute of Public Policy in the fall of 2006 as an independent, private sector think tank for research on economic, social, political and foreign policy issues. At present the Institute stands at the forefront of public and policy research and debate at international, national, and local levels. It has established a network with policy makers both at federal and sub-national levels, and through its publications and policy advice it makes a contribution to public policy in Pakistan.


Collaboration with the School of Liberal Arts


IPP collaborates with the School of Liberal Arts Social Sciences, BNU in developing an MS/ M.Phil. program in Development Economics and Public Policy. Faculty and students of the School take part in the Institute research work. The faculty from IPP teaches courses at SLASS. BNU students are offered internship every summer to actively participate in the work of the Institute, undertake field research all the organizational work connected with seminars and workshops.
