The demand for technical education is rapidly increasing everywhere in the world. Parallel to this requirement a profound focus is on educational institutions to put their activities in accordance with the current needs. The contribution and commitment of educational institutions toward the personal, social, and career development of the students is the most important pre-requisite to produce true challengers, who are well trained for technical responsibilities and opportunities in the market. Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education (DIHE) has been established to address such challenges.
DIHE was started functioning at a fully equipped four-storeyed building in Defence Housing Authority, Karachi, Pakistan. With the passage of time and increasing requirement of a larger campus, it has shifted to a permanent City Campus of its own near Shaheed-e-Millat Road. The Institute is located in the heart of the metropolis of Karachi. The central location of the Institute ensures not only a vibrant, highly cosmopolitan atmosphere but also makes it easily accessible from everywhere within Karachi. The campus offers state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities including research labs, lecture & seminar rooms, high-tech computer labs, a large well-stocked library, an auditorium, a common room for girls, a cafeteria and a sufficiently large open area for outdoor sports.
In addition a fully furnished and well-equipped campus at North Nazimabad was also established in 2004 to serve the people of the area and surroundings. During this short span of time the campus has significantly improved. The Noth Nazimabad Campus is not only maintaining academic excellence but also offering state-of-the-art technical training programs for meeting the needs of the local community.
