I take this opportunity to introduce DASE Development Organization to you. DASE is a not for profit organization founded in 1992 by a team of social activists and skilled professional from a very remote village Nawabpur of Tehsil Multan DASE is register under Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control Ordinance 1961 (XLVI of 1961) in 1997. Since its inception 18 years ago the organization is fighting for a just and equitable society in Seraiki Wasaib/region. DASE has been providing services, disseminating information and raising awareness of local peasants and workers especially women district Multan in particular and in Seraiki Wasaib in general. Through its direct and focused input to rural population DASE has developed strong roots in local communities and has a fairly large outreach in the entire district. The organization has also been an active partner in advocacy networks, social movements and other peace and rights based alliances working in Seraiki region. With its special focus on landless and small peasants DASE has developed a strong movement of local farmers engaged in development and advocacy actions.
