QA Engineer

At Company Abc, a dynamic and innovative technology company, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both test automation and manual testing. The QA Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. This role involves designing and executing test plans, verifying the software designs against the requirements, and identifying any potential issues before products reach the market. Candidates should have a Bachelors Degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance. This position does not involve managing a team, allowing the QA Engineer to focus on their core testing responsibilities and contribute significantly to our development projects directly.
Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and execute test plans and test cases for various software applications.
Conduct manual testing as necessary to evaluate software performance, usability, and reliability.
Utilize test automation tools to create automated test scripts for regression and performance testing.
Perform load testing to assess system behavior under varying user load conditions, identifying potential bottlenecks.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring prompt resolution.
Collaborate with software developers and stakeholders to understand software requirements and project scope.
Participate in requirement reviews and design discussions, offering insights based on testing perspectives.
Continuously assess and enhance testing methodologies, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of testing processes.
Stay current with industry best practices and trends in quality assurance and software testing.
Provide regular updates on testing progress, results, and issues to relevant team members and management.
