- Type & Nature of Organization CDF is a development organization. It’s a nongovernment, not-for-profit and non-sectarian, Non-partisan organization working for social development of vulnerable and less developed people. It’s a human-cantered NGO. CDF could also be labelled as an implementing organization which designs and implements various developmental projects with the financial and technical support of international donor agencies and the government. 03 - Year of Establishment Community Development Foundation was established in year 1998. 04 - Vision CDF envisions a "poverty-free, empowered & democratic society in Pakistan; which is guided by the values of equity, accountability, inclusion and respect” 05 - Mission Community Development Foundation (CDF) is a notfor-profit, non-governmental organization, which was registered in August 2000 under the Social Welfare Ordinance 1961. It aims to strengthen the process of socio-economic development and empowerment of the deprived sections of the society at the grassroots level. The organization believes in providing sustainable solution to the communities by developing their ability to mobilize, organize, manage and control local and external resources on their own.
