Civil Engineer (Highrise Buildings)

Communicators Globe Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer with expertise in high-rise building construction to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma of Associate Engineering in Civil Technology and possesses 3 to 5 years of relevant experience working on residential, commercial, or mixed-use high-rise projects. This role demands strong supervisory capabilities, as the Civil Engineer will manage a team of five personnel and coordinate closely with contractors, consultants, and project management to ensure project milestones are completed on time and within quality standards. In this position, the Civil Engineer will oversee daily site activities, maintain stringent quality controls, and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards aligned with project specifications. The role requires proficiency in structural analysis, building information modeling, AutoCAD, and construction management, applying these skills to monitor excavation, foundation, reinforced concrete, and finishing works. Additionally, the engineer plays a crucial role in progress reporting, resource allocation, and resolving construction challenges by implementing effective corrective measures.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities at high-rise building project sites, ensuring adherence to approved designs, specifications, and timelines.
- Monitor and inspect all phases of civil works including excavation, foundation laying, reinforced cement concrete, masonry, plastering, finishing, and structural tasks to guarantee compliance with engineering standards.
- Coordinate efficiently with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project management teams to facilitate smooth project execution and timely resolution of issues.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports covering work status, resource utilization, and any challenges encountered.
- Review and verify contractor measurements and quantities to support accurate billing and payment processes.
- Maintain rigorous control on material usage and inventory to optimize resource management and prevent shortages or wastage.
- Enforce workplace health, safety, and environmental protocols to uphold compliance and promote a safe working environment on site.
- Identify and analyze construction issues promptly, recommending and implementing corrective actions to mitigate delays or quality deviations.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and allocation of resources to ensure smooth workflow and achieve project deadlines.
- Lead and mentor a team of five members, providing guidance, supervision, and performance feedback to foster productivity and professional growth.
