This role ensures seamless coordination across sourcing, inventory management, sales strategy, and performance analysis to maximize revenue and profitability. The Team Lead plays a critical role in guiding the team to execute strategies, solve challenges, and maintain relationships with suppliers, while meeting organizational goals and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor a team of Amazon wholesale experts.
- Set team objectives, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback.
- Conduct training sessions to ensure the team is up-to-date with Amazon policies and best practices.
Wholesale Operations Management:
- Oversee the sourcing and procurement of wholesale products, ensuring quality, pricing, and supplier reliability.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms and build long-term relationships.
- Ensure accurate inventory forecasting and order management to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Sales Strategy and Optimization:
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the wholesale model on Amazon.
- Monitor product listings, keywords, pricing, and advertising to maximize visibility and sales.
- Stay informed about Amazon’s algorithm changes and marketplace trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, return on investment (ROI), and conversion rates.
- Analyze market and competitor data to identify new opportunities or challenges.
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to Amazon’s policies, terms of service, and legal requirements.
- Manage risks related to account health, intellectual property rights, and product compliance.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to streamline operations and support business objectives.
- Coordinate with customer support teams to address inquiries and complaints effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Amazon wholesale or e-commerce operations.
- Proven track record in team leadership or managerial roles.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Amazon Seller Central, inventory management systems, and advertising platforms (e.g., Amazon Advertising).
- Strong data analysis skills using tools like Excel, Tableau, or other reporting software.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications (preferred): Amazon Advertising Certification, Supply Chain Management Certification, or similar credentials.
