Senior Automation Quality Assurance Engineer

Coderplus seeks a Senior Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and execute automated test scripts. This role involves leading a team of five QA engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery by thoroughly testing functional and performance aspects of our applications. The ideal candidate possesses at least one year of experience in Playwright and TypeScript, along with strong expertise in various test automation tools and frameworks. They take ownership of the automation strategy, collaborate closely with development and product teams, and drive continuous improvements in testing processes to meet project deadlines and quality standards. In this role, the engineer uses scripting and automation skills to create and maintain automation test suites using Selenium WebDriver, LoadRunner, JMeter, and other industry-standard tools. They conduct API testing using REST API and Postman, analyze test results, and identify defects or performance bottlenecks early in the development lifecycle. The Senior Automation QA Engineer mentors team members, establishes best practices, and ensures the automation efforts align with the companys objectives and quality benchmarks. Strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of test management tools are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test frameworks and test suites.
Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
Perform API testing using REST API and Postman to validate service endpoints.
Plan and conduct performance testing using LoadRunner and JMeter to identify system performance issues.
Collaborate with development and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
Analyze and report test results, logging defects and tracking their resolution through to closure.
Manage and mentor a team of five QA engineers, providing guidance and technical support.
Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline to ensure rapid feedback.
Maintain and enhance test management tools to improve test traceability and coverage.
Keep up to date with emerging testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices and incorporate them into the testing processes.
