Key Responsibilities:
- Researching Embroidery / Textile trends and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
- Developing design concepts that align with our brand identity and target market.
- Creating sketches and prototypes of designs using software and traditional methods.
- Collaborating with the creative team to refine designs and create final products.
- Selecting fabrics, trims, and accessories that meet design requirements and budget constraints.
- Communicating with manufacturers to ensure designs are produced to the required standard.
- Managing the design process from conception to production.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Embroidery / Textile Designer, with a strong portfolio of previous designs.
- Specialist in using software and computer-aided design (CAD) programs to develop a range of designs.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to research and analyze Embroidery / Textile trends and incorporate them into designs.
- Knowledge of garment construction and production processes.
