Chughtai Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and is registered with the pharmacy council. This role requires strong pharmaceutical knowledge to accurately dispense medications, provide patient counseling, and ensure patient safety. The pharmacist must be well-versed in the pharmacy council registration process and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards. Prior experience is essential to effectively manage inventory, handle prescription verification, and contribute to the quality healthcare services our organization delivers. The Pharmacist plays a crucial role in supporting the healthcare team by providing expert advice on drug interactions, proper medication usage, and monitoring patient outcomes. Attention to detail and adherence to ethical practices are critical for maintaining patient trust and safety. Although this position does not involve managing a team, the pharmacist must demonstrate excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and suppliers, ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy services at Chughtai Healthcare.
Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately following legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide thorough patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and safety precautions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and advancements to offer informed recommendations.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, including procurement, storage, and stock maintenance to prevent shortages and wastage.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy council registration requirements and assist with the registration process if needed.
  • Verify prescriptions for accuracy, validity, and appropriateness of medication therapy.
  • Monitor patient safety by identifying and preventing potential drug interactions and adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapies and improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient consultations, and inventory management.
  • Adhere strictly to pharmacy laws, ethical standards, and company policies governing medication handling and patient privacy.
  • Stay informed about changes in pharmaceutical regulations and implement necessary updates in pharmacy operations.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to pharmacy practice.
