Chinese Chef

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chinese Chef to join our team in Lahore on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of professional experience in Chinese cuisine and be skilled in preparing a variety of dishes for high-volume buffet and event services. This role demands a strong focus on maintaining food quality, hygiene standards, consistency, and smooth kitchen operations. The position offers a competitive salary range of 50,000 to 75,000 PKR and operates on a morning shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Manage the replenishment of food items during buffet and event services to ensure continuous availability.
- Maintain high levels of food hygiene and safety throughout all stages of food preparation and service.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control across all dishes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow and maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or requirements to the kitchen management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies within the kitchen environment.
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff and support team members as needed.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Chinese Chef or in a similar culinary role.
- Proven expertise in preparing a wide range of Chinese dishes, including sauces, stir-fries, dim sum, and other traditional items.
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
