CGPH-Pakistan is seeking a dedicated Male Enumerator to conduct face-to-face interviews and collect accurate data within assigned regions. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in data collection and interviewing techniques, along with strong communication skills in Urdu, Sindhi, and Pashtu. The role requires working independently to gather reliable information while strictly following ethical data handling and confidentiality protocols. This position does not involve managing a team but requires self-motivation and accountability to ensure data integrity and timely reporting.
The Enumerator will play a vital role in supporting CGPH-Pakistans research and monitoring projects by collecting data using both traditional and digital devices. Attention to detail and adherence to established procedures are crucial in maintaining the quality and accuracy of the collected data. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in utilizing digital tools for data collection and be committed to respecting respondents privacy while fostering trust during interviews.
Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face interviews with respondents using structured questionnaires in the specified local languages: Urdu, Sindhi, and Pashtu.
- Accurately collect data following defined protocols and complete all required forms and documentation.
- Use digital devices effectively for data entry during fieldwork to ensure quick and precise data capture.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle all information collected with the highest ethical standards to protect respondents privacy.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with respondents to explain the purpose of data collection and obtain informed consent.
- Report to the project supervisor regularly with updates on field progress and any encountered challenges or discrepancies.
- Ensure timely submission of completed data forms and assist in troubleshooting any technical issues with digital data collection tools.
- Adhere strictly to guidelines and protocols established by CGPH-Pakistan to uphold the quality and reliability of the research data.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to continuously improve interviewing skills and update knowledge on relevant ethical practices.
- Work independently in assigned geographic areas, demonstrating initiative and organizational skills while managing daily field activities.
