Accountant

C&B Marketing is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee our financial activities. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation within the fast-moving consumer goods industry. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The position requires at least eight years of experience and includes supervising a dedicated team of three accounting professionals to support financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical abilities and communication skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and various accounting software. This role demands consistent coordination of audits, managing general ledger activities, and preparing comprehensive financial statements. Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements in compliance with established accounting standards and company policies.
Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring thorough documentation and prompt resolution of audit findings.
Supervise and guide a team of three accounting professionals by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and support.
Review and analyze financial transactions and processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Ensure all financial activities comply with regulatory requirements and corporate guidelines.
Maintain and update accounting records, improving data accuracy and accessibility.
Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Utilize MS Excel and accounting software proficiently to streamline accounting tasks and generate reports.
Monitor cash flow and manage bookkeeping duties to support business operations.
Conduct regular reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
