Cashier

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cashier to join our grocery store team in Lahore on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail or grocery cashier roles, with a solid understanding of point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash-handling procedures. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently during morning shifts, which are 12 hours long. The role offers a competitive salary range aligned with experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions.
- Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment with precision and integrity.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to support store operations and enhance the customer experience.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a cashier in a retail or grocery environment.
- Proficient knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously.
- Ability to work morning shifts consisting of 12-hour durations.
- Attention to detail and reliability in managing transactions and cash balances.
