Librum Bookstore in Lahore is looking for a motivated and reliable Cashier at the manager level to join their team for the morning shift. This full-time position involves handling all cashier duties while ensuring excellent customer service and smooth checkout operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on-site, managing transactions efficiently, and supporting various store functions to maintain a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process cash, card, and digital payments.
- Reconcile the cash drawer and prepare detailed end-of-day financial reports.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases.
- Pack purchased items carefully to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support restocking and receiving activities to maintain inventory flow.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully operational.
- Stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as required during shifts.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating POS systems and handling cash transactions.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail for accurate cash management.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness when dealing with financial transactions.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and manage light lifting tasks.
