I. JOB SUMMARY:
CARE is a leading global humanitarian and development organization. Since its establishment in 2005 CARE International in Pakistan (CIP) has been responding to major disasters and undertaking development projects. CARE International in Pakistan works through local partners and range of stakeholder for development as well as emergency response which makes partnership a key component of CARE’s work in Pakistan. Health, with focus on women’s health, is one of the CARE’s identified program areas in Pakistan in its Long Range Strategic Plan. CIP has strategic focus on marginalized women as the primary impact group. The incumbent will ensure implementation of high quality health program in North Waziristan, FATA. PM will also be expected to play a role in building strategic relationships and represent CARE in those networks effectively
II. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Job Responsibility #1 PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION, TECHNICAL GUIDANCE AND ADVICE
· % of Time: 40%
Job Responsibility #2: CAPACITY BUILDING
Job Responsibility #3: ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING
Job Responsibility #4: REPRESENTATION AND NETWORKING
· To represent the program at national/provincial/field-level and where appropriate, important international technical fora, working groups, workshops and strategic think tanks related to sector.
· To support advocacy initiatives related to the program.
· To identify, establish and nurture external relations to support the program.
· To proactively collaborate with national authorities, partner organizations and consortia/Alliances/partnerships.
· % of Time: 15%
Job Responsibility # 5: OVERSIGHT AND SUPPORTIVE SUPERVISION
· Supervise and manage project staff and technical consultants for project implementation
· Providing technical backstopping in planning, implementation and data management of the implementing partner(s)
· Supportive supervision to implementing team and monitoring framework
· % of Time: 10%
Job Responsibility #6: PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

IV. QUALIFICATIONS (KNOW HOW)
A) EDUCATION/TRAINING
Required:
· MPH with strong SRH working background
· A Medical Degree (MBBS) will be mandatory
· Strong knowledge of SRH in emergencies
· Emergency project implementation and management skills
B) EXPERIENCE - Number of months/ years of previous professional experience in a similar position:
Required:
· Minimum of five years SRH specific project working
· Projects implementation experience with international donors
· Previous experience in medium-large scale emergencies is preferred
· Experience in project/program management
· Experience working through partners
· Experience in capacity building of partners
· Financial management
· Experience working with INGO’s, National, Provincial and district governments
· Networking and relationship building
