Your primary responsibilities:

  • Your focus will be on delivering outstanding audit services to our clients. As you expand your expertise, you'll evolve into a trusted advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on decisions that have industry-wide implications.
  • Collaborating within a team environment, familiarizing yourself with our clients, their operations, and workflows.
  • Engaging with clients to gather necessary data and information for conducting audits.
  • Assisting in planning, leading fieldwork, managing performance, and keeping engagement leaders informed of audit progress.
  • Executing audit procedures and documenting areas of higher risk to enhance technical and business competencies, including revenue, financial instruments, and tax.
  • Analyzing financial statement data to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Cultivating and nurturing productive relationships with client personnel.
  • Continuously enhancing your understanding of current market dynamics and practices and sharing insights to mentor junior colleagues.

Desired skills and qualities:

  • Overseeing performance and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit progress.
  • Executing audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas to advance technical skills in revenue, financial instruments, and income taxes.
  • Engaging clients with authoritative advice and maintaining professionalism throughout interactions.
  • Continually expanding knowledge of market trends and practices and imparting expertise to support the development of junior team members.
  • Understanding clients\' unique goals and directing them to appropriate resources within the firm to foster broader business relationships.

Qualifications required:

  • Master’s degree in accounting, ACCA/ ICAEW qualification or equivalent international certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of contemporary auditing methodologies.
  • Experience across the entire audit lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, plan, execute, and report on audits.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaborative management skills.
  • Proven track record in delivering external audit and assurance services.
  • Familiarity with risk-based auditing, risk assessment, and control strategies.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements.
