Security Guard

CA Sports is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our factory team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in security or a related field, with a preference for retired army personnel who demonstrate strong discipline, alertness, and excellent physical fitness. This role requires vigilant monitoring of premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access, ensuring the safety and security of the facility and all personnel. The Security Guard plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe work environment by conducting regular patrols, operating security equipment, and responding promptly to incidents or emergencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding company assets through constant observation and surveillance using CCTV and other security technologies. They will enforce company policies, manage entry and exit points, inspect and operate security equipment effectively, and maintain detailed records of security activities. This position does not involve team management but demands high levels of personal responsibility, integrity, and proactive action to address potential security threats immediately.
Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the factory premises to detect and prevent signs of intrusion, theft, or other security breaches.
Operate security equipment, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems, to monitor the facility continuously.
Control access to the premises by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors.
Respond promptly and effectively to incidents such as alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, ensuring the safety of all personnel and property.
Maintain detailed, accurate logs of daily activities, irregularities, and security incidents for reporting to management.
Enforce company security policies, rules, and regulations consistently and respectfully.
Perform physical inspections of buildings, gates, and equipment to ensure they are secure and functioning properly.
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external agencies in the event of security-related matters.
Remain alert and vigilant at all times to detect suspicious behavior or potential threats early.
Follow established safety procedures and protocols in case of emergencies, such as fire or medical incidents.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary to resolve incidents.
Maintain good physical condition to carry out duties that may require standing or walking for extended periods.
Adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements regarding sensitive information encountered during duty.
