We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CA Finalist with a strong background in financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a deep understanding of financial reporting standards such as GAAP and IFRS and have hands-on experience with financial reporting software including SAP and Oracle Financials. The candidate will play a critical role in preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting business decision-making processes. This position requires a candidate with at least three years of managerial experience in a manufacturing company who can lead and mentor a team effectively. The CA Finalist will be responsible for managing a team of seven professionals, overseeing the financial reporting functions, and driving improvements in financial systems and processes. The role demands strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of financial standards, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying financial risks and opportunities and capable of implementing strategies that align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of seven finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant financial reporting standards.
  • Oversee financial reporting processes using software like SAP and Oracle Financials to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation laws and regulatory requirements specific to the manufacturing industry.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Conduct detailed financial statement analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders, clearly communicating financial performance and risks.
  • Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and standards and assess their impact on company practices.
  • Implement best practices in financial reporting and compliance to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage complex financial transactions to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies.
