Experience: Must in Paints Industry (NC)
- Design and perform experiments to analyze substances and develop new chemical compounds, products, or processes.
- Collect, record, and analyze experimental data, interpreting results, and documenting findings in technical reports.
- Assist in the development of new products, including formulations and chemical processes, ensuring they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform routine testing and quality control procedures to ensure that products meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations in laboratory settings. Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety standards.
- Work closely with other scientists, engineers, and departments to develop new products or improve existing products.
- Maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working order.
- Stay up to date with the latest scientific research and technological developments in chemistry to improve current practices and contribute to innovative solutions.
