Seeking a Certified Public Accountant to join our team. The Certified Public Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements and financial reports for a small business consulting firm. This position will be a combination of accounting and consulting. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, finance, and or accounting management. The Certified Public Accountant will also be required to work closely with the CPA and other staff members to ensure that all required documentation is completed and filed in a timely manner.
- Prepare financial statements for clients according to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Review and analyze client accounts payable and accounts receivable for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare client invoices, payables, and receivables according to client requests.
- Prepare bank deposits, account reconciliation, etc. as directed by client or firm.
- Assist with preparation of tax returns for individuals and business entities.
- Assist with annual audits by the CPA as directed by the company.
- Assist with other projects as directed by the company.
