Business Analytics is seeking a skilled Oracle WebCenter Developer with 2 to 3 years of experience in Oracle WebCenter application development and support. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle WebCenter applications, specifically Oracle WebCenter Portal and Oracle WebCenter Content. The candidate must demonstrate strong technical expertise in Java and Java EE technologies alongside practical experience using Oracle WebLogic Server. Familiarity with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL is essential to ensure robust integration and efficient data management within ECM systems. The Oracle WebCenter Developer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to implement web services integration using RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services. This position requires proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and JSON to customize Oracle WebCenter interfaces effectively. The role demands adherence to Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies while utilizing version control tools like Git or SVN to manage code integrity. Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle WebCenter Portal and Oracle WebCenter Content applications to meet business requirements.
- Design and implement content lifecycle management solutions integrating with Oracle WebCenter Content and ECM frameworks.
- Create, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services to enable seamless integration with external systems and applications.
- Utilize Java, Java EE, and Oracle WebLogic Server for application development and deployment.
- Write and optimize PL/SQL scripts and SQL queries to support Oracle Database operations and data retrieval needs.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Apply knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and JSON to enhance Oracle WebCenter interfaces and user experience.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including design, coding, testing (SIT & UAT), deployment, and maintenance.
- Follow Agile software development methodologies to ensure iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
- Manage source code using version control systems such as Git or SVN to maintain code quality and documentation.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve performance issues and defects within Oracle WebCenter applications.
- Stay updated on latest Oracle WebCenter features, ECM trends, and best practices to recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and data governance policies in content management and integration solutions.
