Accountant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our projects by managing financial transactions, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and expenses related to interior design projects.
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments for goods and services received.
Generate quotations and send invoices to clients for services rendered and track payments received.
Prepare regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, and provide insights into the financial performance of the firm.
Prepare and file tax returns, including sales tax, income tax, and any other applicable taxes, in compliance with tax regulations.
Collaborate with designers and project managers to accurately bill clients for services provided and address client inquiries related to billing and invoicing.
Utilize accounting software such as MS Excel or specialized interior design accounting software to manage financial tasks efficiently.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, vendors, and financial professionals to facilitate clear and effective communication regarding financial matters.
Stay informed about relevant accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.
