As a senior team member, you will lead and mentor Analysts and Advanced Analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality client services focused on U.S. individual, gift, trust, and partnership tax returns. Reporting to Assistant Managers or higher, you will play a vital role in resource management and team development, contributing to the overall success of engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate expert-level tax technical knowledge related to U.S. individual, gift, trust, and partnership returns, including handling complex technical issues. Lead and manage the tax return preparation process by reviewing complex returns and other tax deliverables with minimal supervision. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and internal colleagues to foster trust and collaboration. Identify opportunities to expand work within the Global Delivery Services (GDS) and the broader organization by consistently delivering high-quality outputs.
Oversee daily operations and engagement milestones to ensure smooth project execution without requiring extensive managerial involvement. Exhibit leadership by developing high-performing teams and motivating members to achieve excellence. Support Senior Managers and Managers on advisory and ad-hoc projects as needed. Manage engagement and financial aspects by controlling costs, monitoring budgets, and contributing to project economics.
Propose process improvements aimed at enhancing service quality or increasing efficiency in compliance processes. Leverage information and resources across assignments and teams to maximize effectiveness. Facilitate teamwork, manage conflicts, and actively contribute to building a positive and productive team environment. Lead by example, serving as a role model and inspiring others within the team.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated high proficiency in tax technical knowledge specific to U.S. individual, gift, trust, and partnership returns. Strong analytical, numerical, and people management skills are essential. Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and adapt messaging to diverse audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Formal education in commerce or finance is required. A minimum of three years’ experience working with major global corporations, including Big 4 firms or finance shared services, is necessary. Good command of English is expected.
