Restaurant Manager

A restaurant manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and overall management of a restaurant or food service establishment. Their role involves a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.

Here are the key duties and tasks typically associated with the role of a restaurant manager:

1. Staff Management: - Creating work schedules. - Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees.

2. Customer Service:

Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and resolving customer complaints or issues.
Training staff in proper customer service techniques and etiquette.
Maintaining a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere in the restaurant.

3. Operations Management:

Managing day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Overseeing inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food and beverage costs.
Implementing and enforcing health and safety standards.

4. Compliance and Licensing:

Ensuring the restaurant complies with all local, provincial, and federal regulations.
Obtaining and renewing necessary permits and licenses.

5. Record-Keeping:

Maintaining records of sales, expenses, and employee performance.
Preparing and submitting reports to the restaurant's owner or corporate office.

6. Problem Solving:

Addressing operational challenges and making quick decisions to resolve issues.
Adapting to changing circumstances, such as unexpected staff

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.

Minimum Experience: 3 to 5 years. (Fast Food Industry Experience is mandatory). Age: Below 35 years
