Job Responsibilities:
1. Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the supply chain that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
2. Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure a reliable source of materials or products.
3. Inventory Management: Monitor and optimize inventory levels to balance between excess and shortage, minimizing carrying costs.
4. Demand Forecasting: Utilize data analysis and market insights to forecast demand, ensuring products are available when needed while minimizing excess inventory.
5. Logistics and Transportation: Oversee the transportation and logistics operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.
6. Warehouse Management: Supervise the operation of warehouses and distribution centers, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
7. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
8. Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures to ensure that products meet the required standards.
9. Cost Management: Work on cost reduction initiatives and cost analysis to improve the profitability of the supply chain.
10. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
11. Data Analysis: Use data analytics and technology to monitor and evaluate supply chain performance and make data-driven decisions.
