Job Description:

  • Implementation of Elementary School Project in Karachi and take steps to increase enrollment of schools.
  • Prepare Plan for the smooth functioning of Elementary Schools.
  • Monitor activities of schools  and take corrective measure to ensure quality education in schools
  • Taking initiative in engaging with District and Provincial Governments in order to ensure smooth functioning of schools.
  • The incumbent will be reportable to the Regional Manager Karachi and submit his work plan and output Perfomas to RM Education on weekly basis.
  • Prepare plan and ensure timely trainings of Head Teachers , teachers and other staff as per requirement of SEF
  •  Prepare, keep record of all kinds of reports of the project and send to RM.
  • Ensure materials for schools as per requirement of schools through the proper procedures.
  • To promote BRAC values & cultures and establishing good relationship within BRAC staffs.
  • Any additional task assigned by the management.

BRAC is currently serving about 437,465 people in 14 districts of four provinces. BRAC's micro finance program was launched in 2007 on a small scale in Punjab and the North West Frontier Province (NWFP). It is now operating with 88 branch offices, and has 45,011 women borrowers. BRAC considers education a powerful tool for combating discrimination's, illiteracy and poverty. BRAC started 20 pre-primary schools in 2009 in NWFP's Haripur district. The schools now have more than 600 students, about 61% of them girls. BRAC also initiated a health program in 2009, with services in Punjab's Sahiwal and Pakpattan districts and NWFP's Nowshera district.
