- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) regulations.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Lead internal audits and implement financial controls.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Collaborate with finance and leadership teams to optimize financial performance.
- Ensure timely tax filings and regulatory compliance.
- Must have the knowledge of sales tax.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and proactively identifies potential risks or opportunities for the organization.
- Use accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle) for financial management.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff.
Requirements & Skills
- Master or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or Finance Manager.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle).
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet financial deadlines.
