PRINTING MANAGER
Key Role:
The Printing Manager responsible to managing production at stages including layout, finishing, or archiving. This Position also involved in the more technical aspects of moving printed works from the design phase through production and out to consumers and work concerned with business operations, such as planning and research (develop production deadlines, monitor materials costs, and ensure quality control)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledgeable in both traditional printing process (offset), finishing, digital printing process, types of papers, material for digital printing, production of physical items.
- Scheduling production, quality control, co-ordination with external vendors.
- Maintain for quality of 800k-900K mailings/month: flyer, catalogue, forms, envelopes, etc, for our customers.
- Recommend efficient, time-saving project production flows
- Create detailed print specifications
- Recommend thebest printers for the specific project
- Select and negotiate with vendors to agree on best price, quality, and due date
- Explain technical print processes to the design
- Create and manage print production schedules
- Track and control production costs
- Review the project at internal and printer proof stages
- Communicate the designer’s requirements to vendors
- Lead press checks in collaboration with designer and printer company
- Examine finished samples and approve quality before delivery to Pos Indonesia
- Review, negotiate, and approve final invoices for payment
- Manages and monitors printing operations;
- Reports on KPIs and budgetIn charge of the development, implementation and monitoring of the internal procedures of the department
- Coordinates and cooperates between the Department of Printing and related department, Solve all technical issues, Observes deadlines plans, objectives of management.
- Must Fluent in English
