Senior DevOps Engineer

You will lead the development of internal tools, shape work environments, and seamlessly integrate IT operations. Your focus on managing CI/CD pipelines ensures reliable software delivery while collaborative efforts tackle technical challenges and optimize system performance. This role requires a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, leveraging tools like Terraform for efficient and consistent infrastructure management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of internal engineering tools, optimizing environments for streamlined workflows and enhanced team efficiency, targeting tech stack compatibility and operational ease.
• Architecture and implementation of microservices applications to augment scalability and flexibility, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and services.
• Spearhead the implementation of IT architecture, aligning technological solutions with business objectives and furnishing operational support to uphold system integrity.
• Oversee processes, automate workflows, establish best practices, and meticulously document operational procedures to facilitate a frictionless functional setup, leveraging version control and documentation tools.
• Manage and fine-tune CI/CD pipelines across Yoma Fleet's product spectrum, ensuring consistent and reliable software delivery, employing version control and automated testing methodologies.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and standardized IT infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) paradigms, employing tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment, testing, and monitoring pipelines, guaranteeing system-wide efficiency and reliability, utilizing a combination of scripting languages and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate across development and operations teams to streamline workflows, facilitate continuous integration, and swiftly address technical impediments, fostering a collaborative and cohesive team environment.
• Evaluate, implement, and manage DevOps tools to augment deployment velocity and system performance, ensuring seamless integration with existing toolchains and systems.
• Implement rigorous security measures to uphold compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, integrating security practices into the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure configuration.
• Deployed monitoring systems conducted performance analysis, and troubleshot issues to maintain system stability, leveraging logging and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like Sentry, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Craft comprehensive documentation and conduct training sessions to empower team members to utilize DevOps processes and tools effectively, promoting knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.
• Continuously assess and refine existing processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability, employing metrics-driven analysis and iterative improvement methodologies.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field provides a strong foundation in technical concepts and principles.
• Extensive experience in IT, with a focus on DevOps technologies, showcasing proficiency in designing and managing scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions.
• Demonstrated track record in developing operational solutions for infrastructure management across various applications and Cloud Services, with expertise in AWS Cloud Services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Go, or JavaScript facilitates automation and tool development within the DevOps ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with containerized development methodologies like Docker, enabling efficient deployment and management of containerized applications.
• Prior exposure to application security and compliance considerations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience utilizing CI/CD tools like AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions and proficiency in Logging and APM tools such as Sentry and Grafana.
• Firm grasp of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, utilizing tools like Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure resources efficiently.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills for swift resolution of infrastructure issues and the ability to lead and mentor junior team members effectively.
• Adaptive nature, with a continuous learning mindset and a keen interest in embracing new technologies and methodologies within the DevOps domain.
