Senior SQL Server Instructor (SQL Server | T-SQL | SSRS | Performance Tuning)

Blesso Cosmetics is seeking an experienced Senior SQL Server Instructor to join our premium online academy focused on Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate possesses over 10 years of hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL Server 2019 and 2022, Transact-SQL programming, database design, performance tuning, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). This role involves delivering live online training sessions for both beginners and advanced learners, presenting complex database concepts in an accessible way using practical examples, real-world projects, and hands-on labs. The Senior SQL Server Instructor is responsible for designing and updating curriculum materials, mentoring students, and facilitating engaging instruction tailored to enterprise-level database development and administration. While managing a team is not a requirement for this position, the instructor plays a critical role in guiding learners through challenging topics such as query optimization, indexing strategies, OLTP and OLAP concepts, database security, and backup procedures. Strong communication skills and a professional online presence are essential to succeed in this interactive teaching environment.
Responsibilities

Deliver live online training sessions focused on Microsoft SQL Server fundamentals and advanced topics.
Teach T-SQL programming including stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and transactions.
Explain relational database design principles such as normalization and denormalization.
Instruct students on Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) concepts.
Demonstrate and teach indexing strategies, query optimization techniques, and interpretation of execution plans.
Provide comprehensive training on SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and report development.
Cover database security mechanisms, backup and restore processes, replication, and routine maintenance tasks.
Develop practical labs, assignments, quizzes, and capstone projects to reinforce learning objectives.
Mentor students during live class sessions and dedicated office hours, addressing technical questions and troubleshooting challenges.
Create and continuously update course materials, presentations, and source code examples to ensure relevance.
Guide learners through real-world scenarios by simplifying complex enterprise database concepts.
Utilize version control tools such as Git to maintain course content and teaching resources.
Promote a positive and engaging online learning environment to motivate students and enhance retention.
Incorporate feedback from students to improve course delivery and material quality.
