We are seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for back-end development, including creating WordPress themes, APIs and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). You must also possess a strong knowledge of web application development using PHP programming language and MySQL Server databases
Responsibilities
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration. WordPress.
- Collaborate with members of a creative team.
- Manage front-end and back-end website development.
- Create WordPress plug-ins and custom themes.
- Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website problems for clients and co-workers.
- Stay abreast of new developments in software, trends, and practices.
- Familiarize with different programming skills such as namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript Creates and implements websites for clients using the WordPress web creation tool.
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 2+ years' of experience in web development and software design
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, tools and PHP skills
- Passion for best design and coding practices
