Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial discrepancies are addressed.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee payroll processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Handle tax filings and ensure timely submission of tax returns.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
