Bilal Ahmad Digital Shop & Computer Operator is seeking an experienced Computer Operator to join the team. The ideal candidate holds a 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or a 1-year Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) and possesses strong hands-on experience in scanning, printing, basic networking, and computer troubleshooting. This role requires a professional who can efficiently manage computer systems, perform software installations, handle data entry tasks, and support daily operations at a digital shop. The candidate will also be responsible for overseeing a team of four persons, ensuring smooth workflow and productivity in the workstation.
In this position, the Computer Operator will utilize expertise in Microsoft Excel, typing speed, keyboard shortcuts, and network basics to support the company's digital operations. The role demands precision, attention to detail, and the ability to address technical issues promptly while maintaining the highest standards in data management and equipment handling. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential as this role involves managing team members to achieve daily targets effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain computer systems, ensuring all hardware and software run efficiently and without disruption.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and in a timely manner, utilizing Microsoft Excel and other software tools as required.
- Manage software installation, configuration, and updates to ensure optimal performance of computer systems.
- Conduct routine scanning, printing, and document management activities, maintaining high-quality outputs.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting and resolve basic hardware and network issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage basic networking tasks, including setting up and maintaining local networks to support daily operations.
- Supervise and guide a team of four operators, delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Train team members on equipment usage, software applications, and best practices in computer operations.
- Monitor inventory of computer-related supplies and recommend procurement when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Generate reports and summaries on team performance, operational issues, and system maintenance for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to support digital and technical needs across the company.
