Financial Management:

  • Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Accounting Operations:

  • Manage the accounting department and ensure the accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements and other required reports.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including long-term financial planning and forecasting.
  • Provide financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management on economic performance and trends.
  • Prepare financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for executive leadership.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
  • Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within an accounting firm or similar environment.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
