Financial Management:
- Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Accounting Operations:
- Manage the accounting department and ensure the accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements and other required reports.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, including long-term financial planning and forecasting.
- Provide financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management on economic performance and trends.
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for executive leadership.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
- Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within an accounting firm or similar environment.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
