Accountant

Bahu Builder is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with at least one year of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and possess a Bachelor of Commerce degree. This role requires managing financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the companys financial operations with accuracy and integrity. Though this position does not involve managing a team, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure compliance and efficient handling of financial processes. The Accountant is responsible for maintaining up-to-date financial documentation and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The person in this role must demonstrate strong analytical skills and proficiency in handling accounting tasks with minimal supervision. This role is critical to supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of Bahu Builder, requiring a motivated individual with a methodical approach to numbers and adherence to regulatory standards.
Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records and ledgers accurately.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing necessary documentation.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
Assist auditors during internal and external audits by providing relevant information and documents.
Monitor and report financial performance against budgets and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline and improve financial processes.
