We are seeking a proactive and skilled Executive Assistant to support our UK-based business in collaborating with high-end Pakistani fashion brands specializing in womenswear. This role demands a strong presence in Pakistan to manage critical business activities, act as the CEO's representative, and ensure smooth operations. Ideally based in Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad, the candidate must understand these cities well, travel as needed, and have deep expertise in the Pakistani fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Industry Representation & Networking:

  • Act as the CEO's eyes and ears in Pakistan, ensuring professional representation and seamless communication with partners and stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top Pakistani fashion brands, leveraging knowledge of womenswear and industry trends.

  • Conduct research on key players, trends, and opportunities to support the CEO's objectives.

Client Meetings & Liaison:

  • Meet with clients or partners on behalf of the CEO, managing discussions, negotiations, and follow-ups independently.

  • Prepare thoroughly for all meetings, including setting agendas, managing schedules, and taking detailed notes.

Travel & Appointment Management:

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of travel within Pakistan during the CEO’s visits, including transportation, accommodation, and itineraries.

  • Schedule and manage appointments, including remote arrangements for the CEO when not in Pakistan.

  • Be available to travel independently across cities, even on short notice, to meet business needs.

Executive Support:

  • Manage communications, inquiries, and correspondence for the CEO with efficiency and discretion.

  • Provide detailed reports, presentations, and other business documents as needed.

  • Address business-related questions or concerns from the CEO, offering accurate solutions promptly.

Business Smart & Adaptability:

  • Exhibit strong business acumen and problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.

  • Adapt quickly to the CEO's working style and expectations, providing tailored support.

  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills.

Professionalism & Presentation:

  • Maintain professional conduct and presentation, reflecting the CEO’s standards and values.

  • Understand cultural nuances within the Pakistani fashion industry to ensure appropriate representation.

Confidentiality & Discretion:

  • Handle all sensitive information with utmost confidentiality, safeguarding the CEO's privacy and interests.

Requirements:

  • Gender: Female candidates only, considering the female-dominated field and cultural nuances.

  • Industry Expertise: In-depth understanding of high-end Pakistani fashion brands and trends.

  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in English and Urdu for seamless communication.

  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel within Pakistan on short notice.

  • Professionalism: Business-smart with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Time Management: Ability to handle demanding schedules and multitask effectively.

Work Arrangement:

  • Most work will be remote, with in-person responsibilities for client/partner meetings and accompanying the CEO as required.

  • Travel, accommodations, and food expenses will be covered whenever work away from home is necessary.

Critical Initial Period: The first two months will be demanding, as the candidate will play a key role in establishing the business. Performance will be closely evaluated, with exceptional candidates transitioning into a full-time role. While this period will involve a significant workload, responsibilities will ease as the business becomes established.
