Web Developer

We require a skilled Web Developer to join the new office in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end technologies, a passion for creating engaging user experiences, and the ability to monitor and optimise websites for performance. He or she will work closely with a talented team of graphic designers, content creators, photographers and other developers to deliver very high-quality web sites that meet the high standards of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development: Create visually appealing and functional websites using a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other technologies. Ensure responsive design across various devices and browsers.
Front-End : Implement and enhance user interfaces based on design specifications. Optimize web pages for speed and performance.
Back-End : Develop and maintain server-side applications, databases, and APIs. Ensure data integrity and security.
Collaboration: Work with designers, project managers, and other developers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet company's high expectations.
Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure cross-browser compatibility, functionality, and performance. Address and resolve any technical issues.
Maintenance: Perform regular updates, enhancements, and maintenance on existing websites to ensure they remain functional, secure, and up to date.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for web development processes, code, and system functionalities.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Ruby on Rails).
Knowledge of web development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with team members to produce high standards.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation).
Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Familiarity with server management and deployment processes.
Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
